Barbara, sorry I didn’t see this comment until so long after the fact, but I did wear the fedora with a press card in it, but nothing else while reading this book.

I’ll be writing up my experiences with 50 Shades at some point in the near future.

Hey John,
I am quite blown away by how many men have enjoyed this so called “mommy porn”. Whether it be by reading it or by experiencing the “outcome” of it. I know a lot of happy husbands who wish there were more more books like “50″ out there….I admire your in depth, uncover investigation of this phenomenon. My only question left…when investigating do you wear one of those reporter type fedoras with a press card in it? Jus wonderin…Hugs!
